17343 21 2 9 Ec. 传道书 Ecclesiastes 傳道書 So I became great and surpassed all who were before me in Jerusalem. 17477 21 9 1 Ec. 传道书 Ecclesiastes 傳道書 But all this I laid to heart, examining it all, how the righteous and the wise and their deeds are in the hand of God. 17478 21 9 2 Ec. 传道书 Ecclesiastes 傳道書 It is the same for all, since the same event happens to the righteous and the wicked, to the good and the evil,t to the clean and the unclean, to him who sacrifices and him who does not sacrifice. As it is with the good man, so with the sinner; as it is with those who take oaths, so with those who are afraid to take them.
17479 21 9 3 Ec. 传道书 Ecclesiastes 傳道書 This is an evil in all that is done under the sun, that the same event happens to all. Also, the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live, and after that they go to the dead. 在日光之下所行的一切事上,有一件祸患,就是众人所遭遇的,都是一样。并且世人的心,充满了恶。活着的时候心里狂妄,后来就归死人那里去了。 在日光之下所发生的一切事,有一件令人遗憾的,就是众人的命运都是一样的,并且世人的心充满邪恶,一生心怀狂妄,后来都归到死人那里去。 人人的命運相同;這也是太陽底下所發生一件不公道的事。人活著的日子,心裏充滿邪惡和狂妄,以後都死去了。 This is the evil in everything that happens under the sun: The same destiny overtakes all. The hearts of men, moreover, are full of evil and there is madness in their hearts while they live, and afterwards they join the dead.

And a powerful king came against it, surrounded it and built huge siegeworks against it.
